Fish Meal Process

At Mukka Proteins Limited, we combine responsibly sourced marine resources with advanced processing technology to produce premium-quality Fish Meal, Crude Fish Oil, and Fish Soluble Paste. Fresh marine fish, including sardines and mackerel, are carefully sourced and rapidly transported to our state-of-the-art facility to preserve freshness, maximize oil recovery, and retain essential nutrients. The fish are then cooked under precisely controlled temperatures to ensure sterilization, facilitate protein coagulation, and release valuable oils and soluble nutrients. This is followed by mechanical pressing, which separates the material into solid cake and nutrient-rich press liquor. The solid cake is further processed into high-quality fish meal, while the press liquor undergoes advanced separation and concentration to produce crude fish oil and fish soluble paste. Every stage of this carefully managed, multi-step process is designed to preserve nutritional integrity, ensure consistent product quality, and deliver superior marine-based nutritional solutions for global animal feed and aquaculture industries.

Fish Meal – Drying, Grinding & Sieving
The solid fish cake is dried using advanced drying technology to reduce moisture content to standard levels, preserving protein integrity and ensuring extended shelf life. The dried cake is then carefully ground and sieved into a fine, uniform powder, resulting in a consistent, high-quality fish meal that meets the standards of global animal and aquaculture feed formulations.

Crude Fish Oil — Centrifugation

The press liquor undergoes high-speed centrifugation to effectively separate the crude fish oil from water and suspended solids yielding a clean, premium-quality oil that retains its full nutritional properties, essential omega-3 fatty acids, and energy content.

Fish Soluble Paste — Evaporation & Concentration

Following oil extraction, the remaining liquid fraction  known as protein water  is rich in soluble proteins, peptides, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals. This protein water is passed through an advanced evaporation system to reduce moisture content and concentrate the soluble nutrients into a thick, nutrient-dense fish soluble paste of exceptional quality.
